I'm an electrical engineer working for an engineering consulting firm.  Seems like all I do these days is go to work, go home, sleep a little, and go to work again...so so sad.  I attempt to salvage my life on the weekends, but that doesn't always happen either.  Oh well.  I try not to let work get in between talking with my friends though.

I'm a fairly energetic person when I want to be, and I think I talk a lot in most situations.  I don't really have problems getting to know people since there's always something to talk about.  I'm one of those people that think diversity is everything, so I love meeting new people and hearing about various backgrounds, cultures, and experiences.  I've also actually taught ESL students in the past, so if anyone needs help with English or understanding American culture, just ask.

I am looking for people that are willing to discuss and expand on culture and whatever else you want to talk about.  I'm basically seeking people that are open-minded that want to talk about regular, everyday life things (Kinda like how regular friends interact).  Any country is fine.  Email, Whatsapp, Line, Kakaotalk, or Skype are all fine methods of contact once we get to know each other.  Snail mail is also cool with me.

Anyone that could help me with Korean or help me keep up with my Japanese when I'm outside of Japan would be greatly appreciated.  I think I'm a linguist at heart though and some other languages that interest me are French, Russian, Portuguese, and Vietnamese

just ask.  I like doing so many random things.

All types of music including hip-hop, rock, classical, r&b, and some dance and techno stuff. I listen to music in English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish, so I have plenty to choose from.  The list can go on forever.  Music is one of those things that's essential to my life.

Love Actually (yes, I admit its a great movie....even though I'm a guy), Amadeus, The new Bond films, About Time, Ex Machina, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Starship Troopers & The Fifth Element (both movies are pretty bad, but they're classics to me), The Departed, The Shawshank Redemption, Intestaller,  etc.

Naruto, The Walking Dead, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, 90 Day Fiance, Mr. Robot, any type of news program or political show, cultural documentaries, etc.  It's odd, but I've only watched 2 episodes of Game of Thrones.  It's good, but sometimes i'm just not in a fantasy mood.

I typically like to read non-fiction type of stuff including political commentary, history, anthropological studies, philosophy, and metaphysical type of stuff.  I'm open to some fiction even though it's not my natural instinct to read fiction.
