Letters...have souls. -Heloise

Hey there!  I'm interested in meeting some pen pals from all over. I love getting mail and writing letters! I have a hard time understanding why everyone doesn't have the same passion as I do for handwritten letters with unique stamps and awesome stickers all over the envelope? What could be better?! :).

I'm 37, married and have four precious little kids. I love to laugh and enjoy people with a good sense of humor. I'm family oriented and want to meet people with similar values. I'm generally a happy person but do indulge myself in a griping session when the occasion calls for it, and understand when others need to do the same. Even though I like people who I can share things in common with, I really enjoy meeting different people who I can learn from. It makes life more interesting!

I'm looking for snail mail pen pals only. I am also interested in Spanish language practice!
I'm mostly looking for long term pen pals, I want to develop lasting friendships. But I'm also open to short exchanges just for the heck of it.

Lately I've been obsessed with my nail polish blog, Nail Polish Society. It has been become a huge passion of mine! I have a lot of other interests including; visiting National Parks with my family, learning about different cultures and languages, reading, dreams, the arts, crossword puzzles, exercise, chocolate, old movies, sleeping, and generally enjoying life. Oh, and did I mention letter writing? ;)

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I try to read as often as I can which is a little more difficult with kids now. I like so many different books for so many different reasons so here are just a few:

The Blind Assassin, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, Shopaholic series, Bridget Jones's Diary, The Hunger Games, The Screwtape Letters, Harry Potter, Phantom, Unbroken, Wallander series, Harry Potter, etc.

I also appreciate good recommendations! I've discovered many of my favorite books that way.
