I work in New York State government and love the outdoors and filming. I studied in London, UK and have traveled Europe a fair bit in that time, falling in love with Irish music and culture. Talk to me about your travels and favorite hiking trails.

I am planning on going to Japan in September to hike but don't know any Japanese. I am learning the language on my own but want to learn about Japan as well. I only plan on hiking Yatsugatake to the hot springs so far, but am curious about the Alps and countryside in Japan as I am from the countryside in USA. Cities are so stressful!
