Like you, I enjoy writing, would so appreciate a relationship where I can feel safe corresponding,- and not learn weeks in that I’m yet again dealing with a scammer. I admit some are clever, but over the past little while four of the folks who communicated with me ultimately asked for “Steam” cards (I’d never heard of them until that request) or a loan, or were stuck somewhere and lost their wallet, the stories are so very sad… but I have a shortage of sympathy for grifters. It is discouraging. I hope we can enjoy writing to each other. I am retired, but my late husband and I spent our summers on research projects in the Yukon, in Canada’s north. I see you and I watch the same television programming too.
