I'm quite passionate about fixing the toxic anti-cycling culture we have here in North America. Road injuries are the leading non-disease-related cause of death worldwide, but it by no means has to be this way. Lots of places are making swift progress on this issue and the rest of us can and must follow their examples, for the sake of both climate change mitigation and general human welfare, especially as it pertains to the well-being of the lower classes. Car-dependent infrastructure kills and disproportionately benefits the rich.
