I'm interested in exchanging about views on Philosophy. These days I have been delving into Hegel, which however striking as a gargantuan task, it also has given me the most satisfaying realisations during the past year.
I am originally from the south of Chile. Feel free to drop a line or two if you've got an interest in this long and slender strip of land I call home.

I'm a keen language learner. Aside from English and Spanish, I speak German, a language that has a long tradition in my native south of Chile. I strive to keep it up by actively broadening up the ways in which I use it.
Also, I spend quite some time swotting up Latin and brushing up on my French these days.

This inclination for languages has led me to the fascinating world of translation - so far being largely self-taught - so I'd be delighted to hear from anybody busy in this area. 

I'm not new to Interpals. My latest account was taken down for no apparent reason. That was a real bummer, to say the least.

Falls der Leser dieser Profilbeschreibung Lust daran hat, ein Schwätzchen bzw Kommunikation auf deutsch zu halten, würde ich nur betonen, mir eine Nachricht zu schreiben! This section strikes as dreadfully arrogant.

(After some afterthought) I wholeheartedly and unreservedly despise everything and everyone in the so-called environmental movements, such as Extinction Rebellion, Just Stop Oil or anybody who fancies throwing soup or paint at works of art. So, should you happen to side with any of these godforsaken, craven dregs and wretches, that's fine, I'll still be happy to speak to you, but know that you'll be judged! :)

Currently I am reading Memoirs by Henri Sanson, the official executioner of Paris during the French Revolution. A gripping read with a rather captivating take on this crucial time in the history of the West.
