About Me
Hi and Bonjour!

I'm 43 years old and live in Leeds, England.

I love the French language and like to practise my French as often as I can. I have a degree in French, but as I graduated many years ago and have since been busy concentrating on other things in life, I haven't kept up with my French as much I would like.  I now want to focus on refreshing my command of the language and I want to reach as near to 100% fluency as I can! I'm eager to keep improving my written French, and corresponding with native speakers would be a great way to do this - I'd be pleased to help you with your English, too so we could have a good language exchange whilst chatting about anything and everything!

I love travelling, especially to the USA.  I would love to make friends with people from North America.  So far I have visited San Francisco, Chicago, New York, The Hamptons, Newport (Rhode Island) Boston and Cape Cod - all are incredible places, especially San Francisco where I would love to live one day!  Most recently, I have also visited Toronto, which I found to be another great city, and I would love to discover more of Canada.

I enjoy chatting about everything, exchanging ideas, thoughts and talking about life in general. I have quite diverse tastes in terms of films, books, music etc - depending on what mood I'm in I appreciate different genres!

What I'm not interested in is the whole drinking/bar scene - I'd much rather be making the most of life by doing different things and seeing what our amazing world has to offer, rather than sitting in a noisy bar drinking the night away!

I hope to hear from like-minded people very soon :-)
Requests
I'm interested in making friends with people all over the world, but especially from France, the USA and Canada, preferably around the same age as me (40-45)

I'm also keen to keep practising my French with native French speakers - I can help you with your English in return!
Language Exchange Requests
I have a degree in French but, since my studies were over long ago, I want to keep practising and reach as near to fluency as I can! I'm eager to keep improving my written French and corresponding with native speakers would be a great way to do this - I'd be pleased to help you with your English, too so we could have a good language exchange whilst chatting about anything and everything!
