One way to get the most out of life, is to look upon it as an adventure.

The blunt truth? I'm pretty human, I get caught up in work, twelve hour shifts are murderous and it would nice to have an e-mail penpal, or snail mail, something to look forward to. I'm an avid learner--of everything, podcasts and BBC radio, hook me up! I make dad jokes, corny sayings, I make myself laugh, it's not hard. I love being outside, especially hiking to waterfalls--there needs to be something at the end of the trail though, I don't know if I would walk in the woods just for the sake of walking in the woods...maybe when I was younger.
I do a lot of different things, and I'm only mediocre at all of them. Play the uke? Sure, but not well. Paint? Sure, but not anything resembling a Van Gogh. I went on a baking frenzy over Christmas and paid bills with dough I made from dough, (there's one of those dad jokes I told you about) but I couldn't begin to tell you how to make a ciabatta. But...and here is the important thing, I like myself. I've finally gotten to the age where other people's truth about you, aren't YOUR truths. And suddenly, what other people think doesn't matter as much anyway. What I'm saying is I will probably stalk your profile before I let you into my life, hahahaha. Not joking. I'm a Christian.

I won't respond to a 'hey', experience has shown me that those messages end in a bad way. Just tell me something about yourself, be polite, read my profile and realize what I want and expect from you. Don't know what to say, here, try this: What's the last thing that made you laugh? Do you have a song stuck in your head? What is the CRAZIEST thing on your bucket list? What was the last thing to annoy you? Don't flirt with me, or at least, have some class, no, I'm not a party girl.

Piano (wish I was classically trained, alas, I can play a Coldplay song and that's about it). Ukulele, (a little). Watercolor, snail mail (had a penpal for the past 6 years, would love to gain another friend) hiking, walking, baking...I'm pretty sure I count as a tea collector, but not on purpose, haha! Loose leaf tea is the bomb. We should do a tea trade, ohhh!
Avid coffee drinker. Fanfiction author, yeah, yeah, 'it's not real writing' tell me it's not real writing once you've written over 479,677 words of the stuff, to put that in perspective, War and Peace (the English version) has 560,000 words. It's helped me become a better writer, I love it...and the reviews aren't bad either. ;)

Where do I begin? I like a lot of stuff. There, that should cover it.
For real though: Hamilton soundtrack, Mumford and Sons, current pop, 80's, 60's, old country, Hozier, Mercyme, Twenty one Pilots, Sara Bareilles, Bethel, Young the Giant, Missy Higgins--it changes.

Hacksaw Ridge, Anne of Green Gables, LotR's Series, Shrek...yeah, I would love to challenge you to a Shrek quote war. "NOT THE BUTTONS!"

I don't care for Nicholas Sparks or the mainstream authors that seem to write the same book with different character names.
