Well, let's start from the beginning...

Once upon a time, on some day in october, in some hospital in Brasil, I was being born...

Ok, ok, ok... maybe it isn't necessary to go back so far to the beginning.......

Hi! My name is Ingrid....
I'm from Brasil (pois é, eu falo português xD) and, since I was very young, I have always been fascinated by languages, cultures, and by trying to discover how people who were born in completely different places can be so similar at the same time!!.....

So... I created an account on this website, where strangers come in to talk to other strangers....
And now, here I'm... me (a complete stranger) writing a text that you 🫵 (another complete stranger) are reading at this exact moment, while deciding whether it is worth talking to a third stranger (me again) about any random subject!

Coincidence?... destiny?.... a glitch in the matrix? Or just the Interpals algorithm working?!!!  *Será?!!* (we will never know!!!!!!!!!)...

So... maybe I should talk about some things that I like?!!...
I love taking photos with my camera.... I like reading, especially philosophy, history, and poetry...
I also like writing (a looooooot).... I bet that, if Kafka or Dostoevsky were alive, they would probably exchange letters with me!!(maybe not.... but let's pretend so!)...

Music also occupies a largeeee part of my life. (I think everyone noticed because of the number of artists!)😅 *tem mais rsrsr*
I have spent an unhealthy amount of hours on RYM and Last.fm (many late nights!) looking for artists that almost nobody knows. (Yes, Last.fm still exists!!!)…(and I can swear that I know an artist or a band from every country on the globe!!)

I also love conversations about art, culture, travel, curiosities, films, cultural differences, small coincidences in life, and random subjects...

Wel... before this turns into the next chapter of Harry potter, I'll stop here!....
