I have a degree in history, and would love to talk to people who love history. I also love coffee. If you love coffee and history, AND don't hate Americans, then, well, let's chat! I would love to travel and maybe even work overseas. I am also slightly crazy, in a clinical sense, but don't worry.

I could use some help with French and Spanish. (no, I do not hate France.) I'm interested in languages in general, but I have formal training in the French language, and I would like to fully develop that skill first. I am in a relationship, so I am NOT looking for some weird overseas romance thing. No thanks. This is my second time as an Interpals user, and one thing remains the same: no romance, and no sending money that I do not have. I rock out. I also like classical. I'm not really into techno. I lean towards heavier bands, but you know, I am willing to try new music. As long as it's not Katy Perry. She's totally overplayed here in the US.

I'm not really a movie buff. It's all about 3D and computer graphics nowadays. Damn, I sound old when I say that... but I did like Avatar. I like comedies a lot, so the Hangover was one that I liked as well.

Favorite shows? Most shows on History Channel... House... Big Bang Theory.... Modern Family... Real Time with Bill Maher....

I've read too many books to have a favorite.... but "Crime and Punishment" (Dostoevsky) and "Brave New World" (Huxley) are two classics that I love. And I am partial to American authors (of course), such as Twain and Poe.
