Well the universities here are full of Left-wing professors and administrators. They have no interest in making Chesterton known, let alone popular.

Chesterton was a superstar in his own day. Everyone knew who he was, and it helped that he wrote for the newspapers, so the common man was familiar with him too. The main problem today is that he isn't taught in the universities.

I'm impressed that you know who Chesterton is. Most people even in England don't know, sadly.
