Oh, hi. When I was born my parents gave me the name James. It was a long time ago and I don't exactly remember the event but as far as I know it's the only name I've ever used. I'm a man, a male, a guy, a dude, a boy, a bloke, whatever you prefer. I have been all my life and I intend to remain one for what's left of it. (I know, that's so reactionary and politically incorrect, right?) I've survived on this planet for over forty years now. I guess you can say I've crossed the halfway point, give or take a decade or so. Age is a bit overrated, I think. I can get along with somebody of any generation. As long as they're not full of themselves. I admire the wisdom of age and the optimism of youth as long as neither is overly pompous, dismissive or self-righteous.

I am a worker and I work a lot. You might call me a workaholic but I don't consider myself one. I work out of necessity, not addiction.

I consider myself quite a nice person, rather easy to get along with, mostly cheerful with a good sense of humor. That said, the worst of humanity has a tendency to chip away at one's good nature and I feel myself becoming a little more cynical and sarcastic with each negative experience.
