Think a lot, write, enjoy nature greatly. Enjoy the bounteous beauty in life when I manage to be present.
Favorite Music
Listen to all kinds. Love Mixcloud for bringing me musics I have never heard. Radio Garden is a real adventure. Old favorites, Tom Waits, Laurie Anderson, Dexter Gordon, Oliver Nelson, Jan Garbarek, John Coltrane and Nina Simone, a little death metal from time to time (so sue me!) Like the band Morphine. Anybody who can play two saxophones at once has my attention.
Favorite Movies
Another toughie. There's so many good ones. Blade Runner is a classic favorite. Harold and Maude another old fav. Also from the past, Bergman, Fellini, Bertolucci, Kieslowsi, so dang many old smart good ones. Enjoy some super dumb, but funny american films. Have watched tons of good foreign films and independents. Bad with titles.
There are many good shows to stream (character driven and thought provoking and entertaining). Do very much enjoy many British and Australian tv shows.

Like to follow characters through complications and changes. Fun to get to know them, like friends almost. LOVE a good story.
Favorite Books
I am reading Jung's Psychology and Alchemy, books on Native American art and culture. When I read fiction I like short stories. Am drawn to brevity, a fan of less is more pretty much. Raymond Carver, Amy Hempel, Denis Johnson, etc. Never tire of Salinger's Nine Stories. (I do go on for a proponent of less is more, I know) Anyway...
