'Labyrinths' by Borges and 'Existentialism and Human Emotions' by Sartre (those two books really changed my path)

I also love short stories by Faulkner, Poe, Kafka, Camus, and Hemingway, and I'm generally drawn to post-colonial literature. And yes, I'm a big fan of Russian literature as well.

I enjoy getting lost in Tolkien's world, too.

On the non-fiction side, I've read some on cognitive biases and human reasoning, such as You Are Not So Smart, Incognito, and The Enigma of Reason.
