Although I'm quite open to human expression, I can be very picky. I'd like to add that I'm not really into nowadays mainstream stuff (not precisely against it but I know what I like). In a sense, I'm an old-fashioned soul but with personal criterion.

Favorite Music
I love music, it's like a passion for me. I like to listen lots of genres/artists --though it doesn't mean I like anything as I can be quite picky. Among the many variants I like: Classical (as well as other Formal Music's eras), Avant-garde (Cage, Stockhausen, Riley, Xenakis). Popular music (Blues, Rock, Pop, Oldies), Jazz (Coltrane, Miles, Birdy, Ben Webster, etc.), Instrumental and Ambient Music (Eno, Aphex Twin, etc.), Folk (Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Roy Harper, Gordon Lightfoot).
Favorite Movies
Mostly those from 50s to 90s period with some artistic value. Right now I'm trying to watch some from the 1001 Films You Must See Before You Die guide. It can be assumed that I'd prefer to watch international cinema instead of Hollywoodian stuff. Some of my favorite filmmakers are Herzog, Tarkovsky, Bergman, Wenders, Kaurismäki, Kiarostami, Allen, etc.
Favorite TV Shows
I'm not against TV or shows but I'd certainly like to spend my time in other things. I'm not really into American serials but I enjoyed Breaking Bad and I'm following The Big Bang Theory episodes -although I think it turned into a geeky version of Friends. I also like Seinfeld, The IT Crowd (a rarely but simply great Brit sitcom) and acid-dumb humor shows as The Whitest Kids U' Know, Ren & Stimpy (yup, don't ask me why), etc.

Latest favorite fiction book: Midnight Children by Salman Rushdie.
I'm more into something factual readings/essays on Science (popularization of science books/mags), Philosophy, History, Arts, etc.. As for my all time favorite writers: Hugo, Cervantes, Borges, Cortázar, García Márquez, Rulfo.
