I would like to be pen pals only with anyone around the world, although I would specifically like to practice Spanish with a native speaker. I also want to learn more about Japanese culture because I plan to visit Japan with my daughter. Please don't ask for my WhatsApp or any other information. I am looking for pen pals only.

I am an intermediate level Spanish speaker, but I don't have many opportunities to practice. I can understand a lot better than I can speak and I understand written Spanish better than spoken because it's really fast and I don't understand a lot of slang.

My daughter wants to learn Japanese, so we are beginning to study Japanese for when we visit. We are also interested in Korean culture and we are picking up some Korean little by little.

I love reading, watching movies, playing and watching tennis, hiking, listening to music, dancing, singing and playing video games and board games with my daughter.

I listen to most everything, except County, although my favorite is Alternative.  My favorite band is Radiohead. I like other hard rock bands and K-Pop (Seventeen, Got7, Stray Kids, NCT). Other faves include Nirvana, Alanis Morissette, Gnarls Barkley,  Michael Jackson, Disturbed and Nothing More.

My favorite movie is The Rock.  I love action movies.  My sense of humor is geared more towards movies like Shaun of the Dead.  I don't find a lot of other comedies appealing, but I do love a good laugh.  I can handle horror films, but not the bloody slasher movies.  I stick to action films mostly, unless I'm watching with my daughter. But I'm a big fan of the Die Hard series, the Rush Hour trilogy, the Lethal Weapon series, Eraser, Collateral, True Lies, Harry Potter series, Collateral Damage, The Avengers, Captain America, Lord of the Rings, Salt, The Hobbit.

My favorites are Luther, Person of Interest and Homeland.  I like Forensic Files, FBI Files, Unsolved Mysteries, Whitechapel, Derek, Law and Order and Spongebob.

I am a huge John Grisham fan and have read all of his books, along with all of the Harry Potter books. I'm also a fan of Michael Connelly, S.E Hinton, Of Mice and Men, Bless Me Ultima, and Their Eyes Were Watching God.
