hi, fellow linguistics student! i signed up to this site because i also have a uni assignment on semantic typology that i need to gather data for... if only your forum post had gotten more helpful responses, i would've used it too :P but it's fun to see another linguistics student here!

Hi! People often consider me to be weird too. I also like writing, I believe in love, and my imagination is the bane of my existence. I'm 5'2", love laughing, wine, cheese, and have been told to "calm down" or "be quiet for a minute" more times than I care to remember, ahaha. I used to be a vegetarian when I was a child (granted we sometimes had fish and occasionally chicken, so that might not count to others), and currently I am striving to start eating better again. I'm a vegetarian, and I don't wear leather or fur. I also really like That 70s Show, 1984, and photography.

Hello again! Well, a lot has happened since, but basically I've established a pretty nice life here in Chile, with a lot of good friends, and I'm going to Cuba in February along with my adoptive Cuban family that I have formed here. I ended up here because of a post-graduation grant to write a project about race and immigration in the north of Chile, and I decided to stay longer and make the most of it. How's it going your end?

Hola :) No worries, nice to hear from you again. I graduated a few days ago, so now I'm back home chilling...and planning my trip to Chile. I want to read, cook, cycle, walk and watch films this summer ^^

Y tú?

Yeah, but it'd cost almost as much for the same thing. =/
Cause the main chunk comes from the flights and visas and travel insurance really.. So if I did go just for a few weeks I'd spend all my savings and then not be able to do my big trip next year, see..?

I wanted to do a 12 month working holiday in Ireland, but I want to travel all over Europe really.
I'm going to have to postpone my trip unfortunately though. =( i've just started a full time job, and it's a permanent position... So unless I only went for a couple of weeks I'll have to wait for over a year. I'm hoping maybe April/May next year. I don't think a couple of weeks would be long enough for me.
