I like politics, economics, history, books and arthouse cinemas.

Also, I like sport and this used to be the only thing that differentiated me from most inner city hipsters until I had the misfortune to being amongst them and subsequently revolting wildly against their ways.

My aim in life is to be the most liked comment on a facebook thread. I often fail.

I am a massive troll provocateur. Intelligence really does intrigue me and I like engaging with clever people.

I am an unsuccessful park cricketer, who plays for a quirky cricketing outfit that gets its origins from social games played between International Socialists and Communist Party members in the late 70s. I graduated from being an unsuccessful basketballer whose team disbanded after losing more than 50 out of 60-odd games over 5 seasons.

I am also a lawyer.

I am not really interested in writing hand-written letters to people, I prefer email/facebook/interpals/WhatsApp communication. Not to mention that I have horrible lawyer scrawl as my primary "to paper" font and I'm horribly lazy.

I am not a very conscientious person in the respect that I am not really interested in helping other people with their English. I'm sorry, I know I'm horrible but I'd rather be honest about it.

Oftentimes I may visit someone's profile (and it is always the case with people with whom I share the same tastes) and  I won't know what to say that would sound clever in a message and so I will leave no message. If I have done this on your profile, I apologise.

I have a much more eclectic taste in music than I did when I was in my early 20s when I was an insufferable hipster dickhead. Recently, I have been getting into PJ Harvey, random German EBM music and MIA. I'm generally a sucker for whatever pops on my Youtube mix. Favourite band though is Sleater-Kinney.
