Yo, my name is Rachel! I'm very pleased to meet you  :)

Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world…  That’s right, I’m a local girl. Born and raised in Kingston. I visited Canada for three weeks but couldn’t be happier to be back home starting my degree and a bit more experience behind me.
Currently, I'm working in a small firm as a junior engineer.

So, I’d probably smile and say hi to you if we were strangers passing on the street. I believe in kindness, empathy, holding open doors, putting your phone away at dinner, and always making time to listen to a friend.

Music distracts me, i just have to move or sing along when I hear it, live music is my weakness. However, I'd prefer to be an actress rather than a rock star. I just have too much anxiety for that.
Dance movies and people-watching is a favorite pastime, I live for the moments you can’t put into words, and few things transcend a cup of tea and someone to share it with.

I'll say proudly, I’m an amazing cook, and love to try out new recipes. I'm vegetarian. There’s just nothing better then getting creative and making something that you can also eat. It’s the best kind of art. I also enjoy baking, it's a real science. Wanna exchange recipes?

I love writing snail mail, receiving a handwritten letters with treats makes me feel special and loved.  I have social media though.
