About Me

Hello everyone! I'm generally a solitary person although I do like to go out and make new friends. I adore learning languages and discovering new things about my own language. I hope I can find somebody on here who share my interests and/or who can open my eyes to things I may never have tried before.

I'm interested in language exchanges in any of the languages I speak.

Hobbies & Interests

I love reading and learning new things. I also like to listen to rock/punk/alternative music (although I like a bit of everything really) and I love comedy! My academic love is language, and so I am currently studying Spanish and English linguistics at my local university. Other than everything below, I also love video games. I always pay attention to what's new and I'm usually playing something or other.

Favorite Music

Green Day, Tenacious D, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, The Fratellis, Arctic Monkeys, ABBA, Gatillazo, Shinedown... blah blah blah
I also love love LOVE the sound of the accordion. I don't care what kind of music is playing, if it has an accordion in it, I know and I stop and listen. That instrument is amazing!

Favorite Movies

I love animated films, some of my favourites are Finding Nemo, Shrek, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, Ice Age etc. I also like comedies a lot, my favourite being Love Actually.

Favorite TV Shows

I don't really watch TV anymore but I used to like: The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, My Family, Wild At Heart, Big Brother...

Favorite Books

Harry Potter, anything by Darren Shan, Twilight Saga, Skulduggery Pleasant, Comedians' Autobiographies, The Hunger Games - generally Young Adult Dystopian Fiction and Fantasy. I also love 1984, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time aaand a bit of Thomas Hardy, so there ya go...
