i consider myself kind and gentle    and patient

white apple blossoms falling free
dancing swirling playing joyfully
        affection given lovingly
                caressing me
                    tenderly





Is anesting such sweet sparrow
hath thou fled an icy grip
is springtime's warming blow
that melts such waters now to sip.

is some tunes of squabbles in
thy nest a gentle tugging snack
of tasty worm a hearty din
that chicks with joy attack.

Alas poor nesting sparrow,
thy chicks and you will flee
when there comes ice and snow
then I wonder where thy'll be.


you smiled and that was when I knew
such simple truth said in words so few
by lovers before to those they woo
with these sweet words "I love you:"

and lullabies

childish mirth displaced the quiet
of what reposed of nightly peace
for such begone this sleepy diet
and dream yon child and never cease
for days end come and tired thy be
but wish for that you hold so dear
and close sweet eyes and so sleepily
a wish becomes and now draws near
