I'm married, and recently retired from working in a hospital setting for almost 20 years as a counselor with adults and young people who have disabilities. Prior to working in the hospital I was a building construction contractor helping people with low incomes to do building projects on their homes. I really enjoy helping out where I can.

I spend most of my free time world traveling. Been blessed to be able to travel to many countries: Europe, Asia, Africa, and many others. I presently live in Northern Oregon. I have also lived in eight different states around the U.S. Spent the bulk of my years in Rhode Island, Maine, and Oregon.

Life has given me a handfull of grandchildren, and I am very fond of them. We have 3 children. My second love is growing my own fruits and vegtables in my home garden. Love to teach the neighbors the art of growing good produce. Love eating fresh organic food right off the vine. West Coast wild salmon is one of the best treats one receive from living here.

My interest in people from all over this planet makes me want to exchange ideas with them regarding life in general. I would be happy to have several pen-pals in different countries. Possibly I can help you improve your English, and if you like, you can help me learn your language. We can also teach each other cultural understanding through our own life experiences.

Human development, traveling, trail walking, boating, gardening, fishing, and developing property. Love the ocean. Enjoy long country walks and drives. Spending time with my kids and grand kids, cook-outs are a blast. I also enjoy building projects with my relatives and friends. Carpentry is number one in my life.

My favorites are the Beatles and Elvis. Will listen to anything that has a beat. All types of ethnic music. My musical enjoyment also includes Opera, Blues and Jazz..... you name it and I usually like it.

Not a big TV person either. OK! National Geographic, Nature programs, and the news.
