Hello there! Welcome to my Interpals dot net profile! I'm back and ready to start pen palling again after a LONG hiatus!

Why pen palling? Well, I'm a travel bug ... endlessly curious about other countries and cultures. I also enjoy writing, and have many great memories of my childhood pen pals. So this seems the perfect pastime -- and I hope to develop some long-lasting, long term friendships in the process. I've met several interesting people here since joining, so I'm already on my way!

After years of corresponding via email, I have a lot of people to keep up with online ... thus, I'm specifically looking for "snail mail" pen pals. Besides, snail mail is much more fun than email.

A little more about me: I'm 33 years old, and married. My husband and I live in the USA, specifically in Washington state. We don't have children, but we do share our home with a spunky Silky Terrier, and a sweet (and chatty) Seal Point Siamese cat!

I'm a radio deejay (both paid and volunteer). I love music of all kinds -- especially independent music, and music of the late sixties and early seventies.

I also adore traveling. (I know, I already said that, but it bears repeating!) I've been to over 40 US states, several of them multiple times -- also to parts of Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and France. My favorite place to visit is New York City; my favorite way to travel is the train. I look forward to visiting more countries, as well as the rest of the USA.

What else? I love to spend time with my extended family. I'm a night owl. I'm also a cancer survivor. My favorite flower is the sunflower. I love pumpkin spice coffee, but I usually like tea better than coffee. ;-)

There's more, but I guess I should save some stuff for our letters; and I'd LOVE to hear about you and your country! I'm very interested in the Scandinavian countries but I would enjoy hearing from just about anybody who'd like to exchange letters, as well as postcards and possibly some small gifts (maybe even some music?) through the mail.

Females preferred. I'm happily married and not looking for a "relationship" -- just compassionate, patient, and open-minded friends ... who like to write good, old-fashioned letters.
