Hello, my name is Oliver and I am from England, I was born in England and I'm English... which in my specific case means that I am in fact: 60% Gaelic, 25% Viking, 10% Slavic and the rest is a bit of guess.

I have traveled well, through nearly 40 countries across the globe, and have lived and worked abroad.

I'm not religious but my spirituality seems to resonate most with the cosmos, the natural world, and the people within it.

In between travels I work growing organic vegetables and helping people with disabilities.

In my travels I like to volunteer to help me further understand the world and it's people. I have worked in Poland, Iceland and England Spain and Nepal on community farms, ecovillages and alternative communities.

I am comfortable with relaxing at home, with friends, alone, with nature, loud and busy, peace and quiet, I'm easy really..  
I like foraging for wild foods, cooking, photography, travel, hiking, science & nature, outdoor pursuits/adventure sports, the arts, history, watching live music and comedy, yoga & meditation and playing computer games.

I listen to an eclectic mix of music, through Electronic, Folk, Metal to Soul but in general the more ambient, progressive and esoteric, the better.

Sci-fi, Fantasy, Psychological Thriller, surreal/atmospheric films.

I don't own a T.V. but I like watching documentaries and some series in my preferred genres.

Although I enjoy fiction, I rarely read novels. I prefer reading factual information, often geographical or scientific but I do like a good adventure/survival story.
