What can I say? I won't ask you for money, and I don't have any exciting business opportunities to offer you. I am not related to the ex-Minister for Finance from any country and am not trying to remit funds from a local bank to an international bank based in Zurich, assistance with which would naturally oblige me to well-recompense the facilitator. I have no access to cheap medicines which really work. I am not in a position to inform you that you have won any lottery for which I am a claims agent. I am not your long lost high-school friend, nor, to the best of my admittedly limited knowledge is any such attempting to contact you.

Japanese stuff, film (last was The Searchers - wow what a movie that was), literature (not that I have read anything much lately - the last was "Little Brother"), politics and philosophy, music (Beatles nut)

Recently became hugely addicted to Starcraft 2. Terrible at it but practicing. Any SC2 nuts are autobestfriended.

Erm in no particular order I listen to: Judy & Mary, The Beatles, Wagner (esp. Tannhäuser and the Ring), Cold Play (although I dislike their U2-ey moments), Dusty Springfield. Other stuff too but that's representative. Oh and Shina Ringo. (Tho I think she has enough talent to dial down the saucy a bit, no?)

"Gently Falling Snow"/"Sasame Yuki" - imho far and away Tanizaki's best novel, so different from his other stuff which I don't take to at all.

(This isn't actually my Favorite Book per se it's just what happens to be in mind at the time.)
