Because there is a whole syndicate of scammers using models of East Asian (Chinese) women as image references.
They always post messages about finding love, and when you chat with them they talk about getting abused, beated or cheated on to try to get your sympathy. They tend to copy paste their text messages and move very quickly to confessing, to chat off-platform, and then to talk about investing in stocks or buying dodgy crypto currencies.
