Hi there. I go by Yusagi, just because it's easier to say than my actual name. I've been here before, but ended up distracted away from it....partly because I'm annoyingly shy.
I keep meaning to learn the Hebrew, Greek, and Japanese languages, but so far have failed in managing it reliably :(

I'd love to make friends around the world, and am especially interested becoming familiar with other cultures. I'd love to make friends with people around the world who share interests. I hesitate to single out any specific places, because I don't really want to exclude anywhere.
I actually don't care if you friend me without contacting me first, I'll probably auto-accept...but if you IM me out of the blue, I'll probably be quite cold and rude, because I get a large number of spambots contacting me via IM. If you do choose to IM me anyway, I suggest immediately making it clear you're from interpals, not a vague 'profile' site, or I might mistakenly block you.

Language Exchange Requests
When I say 'beginner', I mean...basically not at all, beyond recognizing how some sound. I've attempted to learn Japanese off and on, but have never really managed any practical grasp of it. However, I sometimes offer my services as beta/editor for stories and letters written in English, so I'd say I'm pretty good at the one language I do know.
