Language Exchange Requests
Really trying to learn Dutch, but it's not easy. I'm using Duolingo, but it's not helping much. Maybe I'm too old to learn new languages now. I can help you with your Portuguese, if you want.

All time favourites: Patrick Watson, The National, Joanna Newson, Arcade Fire, Amalia, Jose Afonso, Carlos Paredes, Tim Buckley,The Doors, Velvet Underground, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Joy Division, Laurie Anderson, Nick Cave,Tindersticks.
I prefer early music (Scarlatti, Bach, Purcell, Vivaldi) to young new composers, like Beethoven and all that modern noisy stuff. ;-)

Last Year in Marienbad, Sacrifice (and everything else by Tarkovsky), Seven Samurai (and everything else by Kurosawa). And Blade Runner. Somehow I don't watch movies anymore. I think I cannot believe in them.

Ok, now it's whatever cartoons my kids are watching, they all seem the same to me.

I love Portuguese medieval literature and English Literature: Stevenson and Shakespeare, Conrad and Donne, William Blake and Coleridge.
