In regards to your question about how much it will cost for a 1-2 week trip, it really does depends on where you will be going and what type of accommodation you would want. Iceland is very expensive, but it is still possible to travel on a budget. I think if you were to stay for 2 weeks, I would say that you shouldn't have less than 250.000 - 300.000 isk just in case(budget).
