I have written three novels, but only the first, 'Provenance', is published. I'm presently writing my fourth. For someone like me (and maybe you, too, by whatever route), who has come to the writing of fiction as a retirement pastime, there is only ever one reason to write: The cathartic benefit of pouring out the heart and soul onto a page, and the escape it affords. An established author once said 'I write, to discover what I think', or words to that effect.

Everything written, whether published or not, like all works of art, whether good or not, has intrinsic value. This includes your short stories... so write some more!

Hello anzarina. Only my first novel is published. Its title is 'Provenance', written under my pen-name Robert S Field. It's available from Amazon or AuthorHouse in e-book and paperback formats, and is a supernatural historical romance with music at its heart.

My second and third novels are in the wings, awaiting my decision on publishing strategy.
