Xin chao,greeting from China!
Hey HAU,
Haha, actually I will find walking on the street packed with tuk-tuks, motorcycles and private cars interesting. It is always good and exciting to experience the multifaceted Vietnam.
Well, as for the itinerary, I plan to stay in Ha Noi for 4 days and then head to Ha Long Bay, which is said to be a must-go place for travellers, for another 2 days' relaxation. I really want to visit Mui Ne, but it seems I may not have enough time to go there, as it is not that close from Ha Noi to Mui Ne.
So when will you be back to Vietnam? I will arrive in Ha Noi on 19th December, and if I am lucky enough to have you there during that period, we may grab a coffee or a beer together in town then. Yeah, Vietnamese coffee is said to be the best of the best. Gonna check it out.
BTW, if you need any help with Chinese learning, I am available.

Hey HAU,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Actually, I am longing for some intensive exploration rather than extensive sightseeing, so I wanna start from the capital city and some neighboring cities, and next time I might fly to Ho Chi Minh Coty directly to experience the different ambiance there. I know that HCMC keeps more traditions and scenes of France, which makes it unique in the whole VN territory. I am quite sure I'll have the opportunity to unveil its mysterious mask. Haha, after all, it only takes me 2 hours to get from Hong Kong to Vietnam.
Well, I'll travel with my elder brother. I am not joining a guided tour, as I don't like fixed itinerary. So we have the luxury to design our own routes and for sure I will have the time to catch up with u guys in town.
Are u studying overseas?
Marco

Hey HAU.
Great to have your response.
I bet learning Chinese cannot be a tricky case for you, as I notice from the tourism promotion campaign that Chinese calligraphy can be found in some ancient temples and pagodas in Hanoi. So it seems to me that people in Vietnam can, more or less, understand some Chinese characters.
Well, I mean to visit Hanoi and Ha Long Bay during my 7-day trip there. A friend of mine travelled to Hanoi before and she said it was really worth a visit. But I might not have enough time to head south to Ho Chi Minh City this time.
Sure, so nice of you bro. We can surely grab a drink or some street foods in town.
Have u ever been to any Chinese community?
Marco

Hey HAU,
You can speak Chinese? That's marvellous.
I flicked through the Travel ads released by Vietnam Tourism Board and I found Vietnam quite peaceful and harmonious. I am thinking about a trip to Hanoi during this Christmas.
It's gonna be a fantastic journey I believe. haha
