Does the identity of a nation really exists? Are people intrinsically differents?
What we call our identity is maybe more the wealth of our surrounding cultural ressources, customs and so on.
Their origin come often from tenses between differences.
Regarding love for instance: We get poems and songs and on other side we get crimes or burqa.

Upon the whole you are right! Not that the harm, may be, but it's certainly waste of time! I can't understand people who take this kind of entertainment (if it can be called like this) seriously .... Sometimes it seems to me that this world has gone mad ...To waste so much time on such rubbish, silly thing! Oh, dear! People prefer to live without problems and serious things which make them think, but not only eat , drink and sleep .. Alas!! French music and singers are great, wonderful!! I adore both - the most outstanding part of French culture ...
