I just received your letter today telling me you did not receive my letter that I sent you the end of January. I don't know why you didn't get it as I've never had any trouble getting mail in and out of S. Afrika before. I am so sick and tired of writing letter after letter to people and none of my mail getting to anyone. It is costly to me and many friendships are lost because of it. I don't know whether to blame the US post or the overseas posts. Last year from October through December most of my Christmas cards were lost and one gift I sent didn't make it. This year so far, none of my birthday cards or letters to anyone outside of Europe are getting to any of my friends. What can I do? I can't keep sending letter after in hopes of one finally getting there because I cannot afford it. I am getting all of your letters by the way. Have you received any letters from any of your other pals? You had mentioned that you'd not gotten anything from anyone in a while...I was thinking that perhaps theres a postal strike in your area somewhere. Do you have email at all? Or some who has a computer that you could use to get emails? That way we could at least keep up. Let me know as I don't know what to do at this time. I am very concerned about your health at this time and wish there was something I could do to help. Do the doctors know how far the cancer has advanced? Is it still in early stages? Fill me in.
Love,
Kat

Dear friend Patryjos,
I'm waiting until today a message from you. We can talk about recipes, recipes for crochet, knitting, or any matter of interest to homemakers like us. See in my profile photo albums of my family and some species of animals in Brazil.
Greetings from your Brazilian friend
