Hey man, just popped by to wish you a Happy New Year for 2010. I hope your days are filled with peace, joy and multiple asskickings as you battle bloodthirsty ninjas. Remember your centre, your point of balance and stillness, and go forth with the learning mind and happiness.

I loved the Learning Chinese video, the editing was excellent! I will check out your YouTube page later today, I was hugely impressed. I've been making movies since I was 12 or so, and I like when people make something for no reason than to make something.

I saw that you wrote in your profile "I prefer British authors, because of their unbeatable creativity and uncomparable sense of humor" - may I please make the suggestion that a better word would be "incomparable" rather than "uncomparable" ?? I hope you don't take offence at this! The only German words I know are from pornography, so please don't think I'm being the elitist Englishman. ;)

Your quotes are brilliant. :) Good luck with all your endeavours!

I don't know what Jet Li is doing these days, he has been so quiet and I am so out of the loop. I used to watch these movies all the time but the last few years have been incredibly crazy for me, so I haven't seen much at all. I do know Bey Logan's book, very well. When I first read it, I tried to find all the movies in it that looked good. There are a couple of amazing movie stores in London that specialise in these hard to find gems. Thousands upon thousands of movies in shelves reaching up to the skies! I came with a crazy list of rare stuff and I left with maybe 90% of it complete.

I have seen Shanghai Express I think, or maybe just the fight scenes. Talking of Cynthia, please search for "Best fight scene of all time" on YouTube. You will either thank me or kill me. :)

OMFG, I just remembered! I saw The Protector last night with Tony Jaa! Have you seen it?! I liked Ong Bak, but this was something all together different. Terrible, stupid storyline, but the fight scenes were unbelievable! There was one incredible scene where the camera did not cut for about 6 minutes, it was just a single camera follow of Tony as he took on an army of fighters. It was probably the most amazing thing I've seen for years. You must see this movie, and Ong Bak too.

I liked Ong Bak, as I thought "this guy is new Bruce Lee" in terms of his charisma and skills. The moves were astonishing but a little too repetitive; he kept doing this annoying knee to the head thing, which was cool until you've seen it a million times, lol.

Of course, Bruce was Bruce and Tony is Tony, so let's just appreciate them both. Sorry, I got excited. ;)

YouTube has the Dragon Power documentary which is great. That is probably the one I was thinking of.

btw, just in case you forgot:

DON'T MESS WITH ME!

(Yes, I have mental health problems...)

I once met Bruce Lee in a bar. He spilled my drink and tried to apologise but I beat him up. Jackie and Sammo tried to help him, but I whupped their asses too. Also: The Terminator T1000 and also Kartoffelbrei the German witch. Remember her?

Don't mess me with man. Just don't.

Look up Jackie Chan My Stunts on youtube. That *may* be the one I'm thinking of. If not, watch it anyway because it is totally beautiful. His early comments about making moves look pretty is an inspiration. Yeah, he's a true legend.

Any thoughts of Donnie Yen? Drunken Tai Chi has a few lovely scenes in it.

>> You killed my sifu, and now I'll send you to hell!" ???

What are you talking about? They NEVER say that. Hahaha. ;)

You should wait to see Odd Couple with good subs because the dialogue and storyline is excellent, really witty and biting.

How awesome is Prodigal Son??! The training scenes alone are amazing and Lam Ching Ying is the baddest Wing Chun master ever! I love him, he has such poise and charisma. Everything is about this move is perfect. I especially liked the way that there was real drama and plot twists beyond the standard stuff. Comedy, action, pathos, philosophy... this movie has it all.

Did you ever see that Jackie documentary where he is in his office and shows the vault full of script ideas/action scenes that he has thought of but not filmed yet? Amazing! Thousands of ideas just filed away over the years. I agree, the guy is a genius.

Btw, you killed my parenthesis and now I'll send you to hell!!!
