I see that has been some time since you were last online, but I will post youa message anyway, and perhaps someday you will see it and reply.

A number of years ago I saw a very interesting video online about a young Tajik student who lived in a town called Kulob and was very outspoken in her views on the rights of girls in your country, particularly in education and politics. I sent her a message of encouragement, never thinking that she would reply to me. She did reply and we have become very good friends over the years. I am happy to say that I supported her through her education, initially in Tajikistan, but then in Turkey where she obtained her masters degree and is now working towards her PhD. She is also now married and living a very full and interesting and happy life in her new country. My friendship with this young Tajik person has been very interesting and inspiring. She has left the country of her birth. She still visits there to see her family who remain in Kulob and Dushanbe. I would love to correspond with someone who has chosen to stay in Tajikistan and make a life for themselves there, and if you are still interested in having a penfriend, and in particular, one from Ireland. I'd love to hear from you.
