a dry heat is easy to deal with. went to Nevada earlier this month and it was close to 112 degrees outside. felt like a low 80s here. majority of hotels and casinos in Nevada have air conditioning. I'm missing the desert. going on vacation with my parents was nice. ordinarily, I don't get along with my dad...but it was a nice trip.

sounds unbearably cold. never experienced minus degrees. the mountain range here in southern California can drop to minus temperatures late at night. I visited Big Bear last November and it was super cold. the temperature at night was in the teens. went to Nevada recently and it was in triple digit heat. I prefer cold weather over hot. I have it easy living in California.
