Hi! Well, Valencian people usually have some disgusting hate to themselves, to our own culture. I mean, they don't make any effort to protect our language, which is going to disappear soon because of Castilian language's predominance. This language and culture is shared with Catalonia, as we've been brother countries for centuries. However, some politicians have made a lot of anti-catalanism in Valencian Country in order to mask their "Spanishism" (if that word does exist).

So, about my reasons to support our independence, I could say a lot of things. Trying to make it short, it's mainly about historical justice. Valencia has always been a kingdom with its own laws and with Catalan as the main language, and Spain is destroying its identity. Also, economy is also an important point. Catalan Countries are some of the richest in Spanish State, and most of their taxes go to poorer zones of Spain, to give them unnecessary gifts, while they could go to really poor countries which need it to solve hunger and poverty. Maybe you have heard something about it by now, but Spanish Constitutional Court has cut out so many parts of the new Catalan Estatut (kind of Catalan Constitution) that we Catalan people have went on a really big demonstration which has been supported in other countries, such as Euskal-Herria and even yours!
