Hi, I just joined a day ago. This seems like a nice site. I am in the process of moving. But it is taking forever, it seems. Almost 6 months and paying for two places is crazy. Yes, I am married for 28 years. My wife has already moved out. Her Mother helped her pack, and her mother is 86 years old. Doing very well for her age. I am in Maryland and moving just to another city in the came county and state about 12 miles from here. Most of my family I was close to have passed away. The hardest was losing my dad in 2019. Also my cat passed away less than a year ago. My best friend passed away in January, I did not know he did until the police called and asked if knew any of his family since I was on his contact list. My Aunts and Uncles have all passed. I have one friend in California in Sandiago. I met him in 1986 in college. I am moving because this area is getting bad. It was nice when we moved here in 1997. 28 years ago. I was born in Maryland, my parents got a house in Virginia, and then they moved back to Maryland when I was 12. I started working at the age of 14 for my Father until I was 21 then went to college. I really did not know what I wanted to do when I finished high school. I had some crappy jobs like office jobs in law firms. I then got an interest in computers and learned a lot on my own. I worked for a guy in his basement and just started that way. I did that for 8 years then I decided I needed expand so I went to a technical school and got some certifications and became a Jr level network engineer and worked nights for almost 8 years in three different conpanies.

Hi Grace, I love the color of your outfit! It's something like mine. I'm Marion from Canada and my story is long but you have such little space I don't think I could fit it all in!I am single and a young retiree who likes to sing, dance, do Zumba, Chi Gong, and walk outside to the lovely park nearby. I enjoy Nature very much & have written much poetry about it. I wrote a book called FACES OF LIFE & my sis did the India ink drawings which are beautiful! My dad (now deceased) did the cover in intricate India ink. We are an artsey family and I do many creative activities in my room & in the Rec room with others. Bye for now & hope you POST me as I'd like to know more about you. Marion from Canada!

Hi I am sorry to hear you have back problems. I hope you are up and about soon. I went to Canada a few years ago and did that boat ride and thoroughly enjoyed the Niagara Falls. Take care and stay safe. Helen

Hi Grace, long time between our communication and also the distance between states we live in!
I am doing well, although I would be lying if I didn't say it's been kind of a summer from **** due to health issues. Hopefully, I am looking at the light at the end of the tunnel - soon. Lol
We also have a huge garden that was to be shared with close neighbors...also with the grunt work that goes along with the produce...and that plan hasn't been too successful but we can try anything once I guess! We, also, don't need as much for two people.
I still do private housecleaning for subsistence income, and actually just got home from a job so I will need to cut this short...actually, it's not all that short šŸ˜…
If you would like to continue conversing perhaps the email would work better at least for me, time wise.
My email address is [email protected], feel free to drop a line anytime, and I do understand being busy and not responding back immediately!

I am interested in researching more about your town and hearing more about you. I need to also check your profile again first chance that I get!
Have a blessed evening, Sally

I can crochet too but knitting just feels right to me. We don't really have a farm just animals for pleasure. I love watching chickens scratch in the yard and the eggs are the best! I get white, brown, dark brown, and blue or green eggs. Lol I just love them.
Lately I've been watching Amazon Prime for marathon movie watching. Just search for the years of movies you like. I just did 1950's science fiction and got over 200 matches!
I like to yak too, lol.
